Ready to re-open

In the last few months the world as we knew it changed entirely, and whilst we will be opening to guests again on July 4th we have also had to make some changes to the way we operate to ensure we are following government guidelines, but more importantly to keep our guests and staff safe.

We’re fortunate to be in a remote countryside location with lot’s of space, but over the last few weeks we have been assessing and making changes onsite to ensure we can offer maximum social distancing and keep the site COVID-secure.

This week we are focusing on our cleaning handbook and training all staff on best practises.

If guests or staff become unwell at any point we will be asking them to stay home or to leave the site at the earliest available opportunity.

One day before arrival guests will receive an email detailing how to use self-checkin as well as what you can expect from us during your stay, and how you can work with us during your stay to help maintain everybody’s comfort and safety.

It is very important you read this email thoroughly if you are staying with us, and if there is anything you are unsure of let us know immediately.

A few changes we have made onsite include:

  • Changing cleaning products to EN1276 and EN13727 tested products with a 99.999% kill rate.
  • Checkin from 4pm checkout by 10am
  • Providing a welcome basket with cleaning materials for guest.
  • An even deeper clean, with all hard surfaces being disinfected and soft furnishings removed and cleaned before returning, or leaving for 72 hours before being returned if this is not possible due to time.
  • Disinfecting all bedding.
  • Strict hot tub booking schedule with extra checks.
  • A new private hot tub for Milne’s Corner to reduce sharing.
  • Purchased extra fridges so that each accommodation has it’s own.
  • Added an extra shower room so that each yurt has it’s own.
  • All pots/pans/ cutlery etc removed from the cooking cabin with a selection in each accommodation suitable for the number of guests (more available on request)
  • Cleaning materials placed regularly around the site.
  • Hand sanitising stations including on on arrival in the car park.
